Review:
Wild Tales is Spanish drama and black comedy movie told in 6 short stories, each not related to other. I am sure most of us would have come across the prologue of this film, which went viral on social media.
Wild Tales is a brave and brilliant attempt by Argentine Director Damián Szifrón to show us the blurred behaviours which differentiates us humans from animals in a fragmented narrative.
We often lose our temper and tend to show some extreme behavior. Most of the times in our day to day circumstance, we wish we could do something extreme to people who brought us indignity. But restrain ourselves to yelling or at most picking up fight. And now imagine seeking the vengeance beyond that – this is exactly this film is about. Six short stories about complex human behaviour seeking revenge, with subtle humour running through out in most of the cases.
The movie is itself fast paced, because of the 6 different stories with quirky soundtrack and wonderful camera work. All the characters are flawed in their own way, making them close to reality, like they could have been us sometime or somewhere.
Overall, It is a great movie, and I would recommend to watch it.
